About CloudScript.io

CloudScript.io builds small, focused apps for the Atlassian ecosystem, published on the Atlassian Marketplace for Confluence Cloud and Jira Cloud. The aim is narrow and practical: each app does one useful thing well, installs cleanly, and stays out of the way the rest of the time.

CloudScript.io is Cloudscript Pty Ltd, a small Australian company founded and run by Natasha and Patrick Roumanoff. Staying small shapes how our apps are built: deliberately lightweight, with as little data handling as the job allows, and no analytics or third-party tracking baked into the products. Even this website is only measured with a privacy-first, cookie-free page counter, described in our Trust Center along with how to opt out.

What we make

The apps are macros and tools that put things on the page where they are read: diagrams, typeset documents, structured documentation, email attachments, a technology radar, shared pages, a team engagement tracker. They follow a principle of least data: wherever the job allows, an app runs entirely in the browser, requests no permissions, and stores nothing outside the page itself, and where an app does store data, our Trust Center sets out exactly what and where. The full directory of apps is on the home page.

Background

We have built for the Atlassian ecosystem for nearly two decades. An early example was a 2007 Codegeist entry, a Groovy script-runner for the Atlassian stack, which was subsequently developed by Jamie Echlin into ScriptRunner, now a long-established Atlassian Marketplace app. CloudScript.io has published on the Atlassian Marketplace since 2016, and its Mermaid diagram renderer has been in paid use on enterprise Confluence sites since 2019.

In 2026 what had been a long-running side project became a company. Natasha joined Patrick as co-founder, and the apps are now built and released through a written specification, automated test gates and Atlassian's security review for every listing. We have stayed small by choice: rather than chase large, heavily resourced products, CloudScript.io concentrates on narrow, well-made apps that do one job and keep doing it, which is what the apps on this site are.

Who we are

Patrick Roumanoff leads engineering. He has worked on the Atlassian platform since 2007, including a period at Atlassian itself, and has spent the years since as a technical architect and chief technology officer in financial services, insurance and software companies. He wrote the first CloudScript.io apps and owns the engineering architecture, the shared code the apps are built on, and the platform work that keeps them within Atlassian's security model.

Natasha Roumanoff leads product, delivery and trust. Her background is product delivery and information-security governance in regulated software, including several years directing ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits, and she holds a law degree. She takes each app from specification to Marketplace release, running the build, testing and security submission, and owns the listings, documentation and the policies in the Trust Center.
